River of lights - Then - SNOW!!

We went to the river of lights the other night - it was lots of fun! TONS of cool lights, etc - not quite convinced that it was worth $6 each - but it was cool none-the-less! Today it SNOWED!! Tons of snow (or at least for New Mexico!) - Daisy thinks the snow is awesome -- she keeps running outside and playing in the snow. Tonight we took a long walk in the snow - she loved it....

Decorating for Christmas

Things have been a little stressful over the last week or so - and it was nice to be able to decorate for Christmas! Richie and I work up early - had homemade hot chocolate - and put up the Christmas tree. It was fun seeing the ornaments that we hadn't seen for a year (and to add some new ones!) Daisy is a little older this year - so hopefully she won't eat quite as many ornaments this year! (Plus we avoided candy canes, which proved to be one of her favorite snacks last year!) With the Christmas tree - and outside Christmas lights - it's starting to feel pretty festive around here!

Thanksgiving pictures

Thanksgiving included many, MANY bottles of wine! (What - how do YOU celebrate Thanksgiving?!) Our Thanksgiving included me and Richie, Peggy (my aunt) and Geoffrey (her husband), Laura (Peggy's daughter), Devon (Peggy and Geoff's son), My mom - Sally, her husband - CW and my sister Hannah. We were joined by Geoff's parents (Charlotte and Bill) and my Grandma. The warmth of the "fire" matched with amazing food and good wine made it a fantastic time! (There were even flu shots!) - Leave it to my family!

Thanksgiving is here...

Thanksgiving is tomorrow -- we're headed to both of our families - that means TWO meals (with all the fixings of course!) -- This will be Richie's first experience with my disfunctional family on a holiday (he's successfully avoided it for 2 years!) -- It should be fun!

I'll bring my camera! :-)

Here goes our blog

SO - Yeah - figured everyone else is on the internet, why not us....

So, here we are!

We are Will & Richie --

Will is a travel nurse recruiter for HRN Services, INC - I love my job...I get to bring travel nurses here to New Mexico (where we live) for 13 week assignments.

Richie is a 2nd year medical student at UNM. He's interested in endocrinology (pediatric). He's got one about 6 more weeks of book work, and then he'll be studying for the boards. By the summer he will be doing his rotations in the hospital.

We live in a house on the west side of Albuquerque - we bought it about 1 1/2 years ago and love it! (Richie's the decorator - he's awesome at it!)
